Inspired: table runner

Inspired by this pic on the sneak peek over at Design Sponge today, I'm finally going to learn to use the sewing machine I have tucked away in the cupboard (I don't even know how to thread it!!) and make a linen runner for my very long, very much loved dining table. A simple Easter project for me :)

Wouldn't it be lovely to be seated around this table with friends, sharing a meal.

Hi. So glad I just found your blog! I'm a new blogger from Melbourne and haven't come across too many others in Vic yet. I just became a follower too! Sounds like we share the same obsession that our pesky "real" jobs keep getting in the way of! I loved, loved, loved everything in that Duck Egg Blue shop post. Kristine.

Hello Lee
Welcome back. I missed your posting.(smile) I can help you with how to use the sewing machine.
This is my first comment for any blog. I haven't been blogging for over 6 months.(sigh~) I shall re start mine too.

Cannot wait to see the finished results. If you feel like making any extra one, you know who to send it to - moi!

Bon courage,

Go Lee.... I know whatever you make will be beautiful.
Are you going to stamp/stencil onto the fabric (you know who has some alphabet stamps and stencils). Might be a nice project for us over Easter.
Thanks so much sweet little sister for all you have done for me lately.
